The Rustic multi tones make a perfect statement to your garden or driveway with our Rustic Slate paving. The picturesque texture of this material perfectly combines the traditional and contemporary providing a a perfect alternative to Sandstone and Limestone. Its crisp sawn edges bring a chic strong statement to compliment any outdoor area.

Rustic Slate is a layered material and potential small flaking may occur for a short period as the paving is cut and packaged straight from the quarries in India. The riven surface and top edges will have a rustic effect, the underside and sides may come with what may look like cracks and splits, this is due to the nature of the layered material and to be expected therefore does not reduce the quality of the material.

A prima is strongly recommended for the best results. This is to be used on the underside/laying side of each slabs to ensure a good bond between the base and the slabs. We also recommend to seal the surface using a natural stone sealer to keep your patio looking immaculate. This prevents the stone from fading which can sometimes occur over a long period of time in areas of excessive use such as walkways. Sealers also protect the surface from staining such as moss or algae. Please note, we do not recommend using brick acid on natural stone as this product is too harsh and can cause potential permanent damage.
