Split Packs

We are able to offer split packs on certain paving so that you can purchase the amount you require rather than purchasing a full pack and having a lot of wastage. We do still advise you must allow 10% extra.

split packs are available on all of our Sandstone Riven paving, Slate paving and Granite.

On our mixed packs we can only split by the sqm not by individual slab sizes.

Delivery costs for Split packs no matter the quantity will always be the same as Full packs.

We do charge a £25.00 fee for split packs as these require to be unpacked from the full crate, re-packed onto a new pallet and made secure and ready for dispatch.

Delivery

We know how important delivery is to you. We want you to have complete confidence that your order will be delivered on time and with ease. Use our check list as a guide to ensure a smooth delivery.

  • Before placing your order, please ensure you are entitled to free delivery by checking your postcode on our postcode delivery table which is located on our delivery page.
  • Please ensure all contact and delivery details are correct and please inform us of any delivery specifics i.e delivery date, upgrades, obstructions, etc.
  • Nationwide delivery is carried out through a third part courier service. The couriers operate using a tail-lift and manual pump truck service therefore will only guarantee kerbside drop to the nearest access point on a hard stand surface. Deliveries cannot be completed on to surfaces such as gravel, slate chippings, grass, soft verges or slopped areas.
  • This is a signed for service therefore please ensure you're available on the day of delivery. If you are unavailable, please contact us as soon as possible. Re delivery fees may apply if we are not notified.
  • Delivery routes are planned by the courier daily, usually divided into a morning run and an afternoon run. Deliveries can be made between the hours of 8am and 6pm. On all deliveries, where an accurate mobile number is provided, we will request that the courier to contact you approx 1 hour before they are due to arrive. Tracking is also provided with your order confirmation.

Our online website is business as usual, we have our dedicated team operating answering your emails and dispatching orders within our normal time frame.

Phone Lines

Due to unprecedented high demand and adapting to new challenges with some of our staff working remotely, it may take a little longer for you to reach one of our team.  All calls will be answered, but there maybe a delay before one of our agents is free.

Deliveries

Our currently delivery lead time is 2-3 working days. We offer a fully tracked service.

Please Note: Due to current circumstances of today’s climate, our haulage company are experiencing high volumes with reduced staff due to COVID-19 restrictions therefore some delays beyond our control may occur. If you foresee any issues with this, please contact us immediately to discuss options.

Stock Availability

We are experiencing some issues with stock availability. It has been a challenging unusual time for everyone and many of our suppliers have experienced at some point restrictions on manufacturing. This has led to very high demand and a shortage of stock.

We are updating our website as quickly as possible to show the correct stock levels. Please call or email us if you would like anymore information as we maybe able to supply something that we are not showing available or give a lead time for when the stock is due in.

Terminology Guide

  • Honed and sawn – flat, smooth, polished face, machine cut
  • Riven – natural, textured, slightly uneven
  • Flamed – Surface of the slab has been flamed with a torch to give a light textured finish
  • Shotblast – flat surface with a dimpled texture
  • Sawn Edge – All sides of the paving machine cut
  • Calibrated – Paving is cut to the same depth give or take 1 to 2mm tolerance (easy lay)
  • Handcut – Paving is cut by hand, will be different depths all over (within 5 - 10mm), sides and surface will be Riven
