Delivery and Returns Terms and Conditions

As with most companies delivery of pallets are carried out by a 3rd party haulage company, we work closely with our haulage company and do everything we can to make sure the transaction is as smooth as possible, however please see below for guidelines from us to inform you of the processes, so that you can let us know of anything that may delay a delivery in getting to you.


Please allow a minimum of 10% extra on your order for cuts, wastage and a small number of potential breakage whilst in transit or when installing. The stone is fragile, and we ask you take this into consideration. We will not refund breakages upto 10% as these can be used for cuts.


Please report any damages to us with supporting pictures within 48hrs and so that we can follow up your request. We can not be held responsible for damages reported outside of this time frame. Please take photo evidence of the damages from inside the crate. Once the stone have been moved it is very difficult to claim anything from the courier company back, in some cases we are unable to send out replacement slabs in this instance a refund will be offered. Please make sure you order more than required as stone is fragile until laid and breakages do occur during transit and installation.

We try to make regular updates to our website to keep within today’s market therefore in the event any content is not up to date, we as a company will contact yourself direct to discuss a mutual agreement.

You may not modify, copy, distribute, reproduce any of our content or logo’s without express permission from Natural Paving Store and no licence is granted to you in these terms and conditions for those purposes.

The Contract Between Us

  1.    a) Our website, advertising material and brochures and their content are intended for use only by Mainland United Kingdom customers, subject to a customers postal address being in a delivery area which our couriers cover. Further information on specific postal codes are outlined in our “Delivery Information” page, under “Check our delivery charges”. Any typographical errors that occur in any of our publications, on our website or in printed materials are subject to corrections without any liability on our part.

    b) Full payment of the goods and any delivery charges are to be made before any order is accepted. Once payment is received through the checkout process on the website, an order confirmation is sent to you using the details provided, through email. We will then confirm that we have the goods in stock. Once we have checked this a “Confirmation of Dispatch” is released and this acts as and “Acceptance.” This is when a legally binding contract between us, Natural Paving Store and yourselves, the customer. The goods will then be dispatched to the address provided to us by yourselves on our website on the checkout page. In the event the goods are not in stock we will contact you using the information you provided on the checkout page, either by email or telephone and a refund will be issued, or a suitable alternative suggested to you. The contract will cover only goods covered in the “Confirmation of Dispatch.”

     c) By placing an order and electing to enter into a contract between us you must be;

1) A UK resident and living in an area covered by our couriers

2) Over 18 years of age

3) Legally capable of entering into a contract

4) In acceptance of our Terms and Conditions

Cancellation rights

  1.    a) You may cancel your contract any time up to 7 days from the date of receiving your goods, without the need to provide a reason. 

    b) You cannot cancel your contract for custom made good, including packs made to your specific requirements and measurements.

    c) To cancel your contract, you must write to Natural Paving Store, Unit 10-11 Northern Galleries, Fort Fareham Industrial Estate, Fareham, PO14 1AH, detailing your full name, delivery address and details of the goods supplied to you.

    d) If you have already taken delivery of the goods, you are legally obligated to take care of the products whilst in your possession. You must not unpack them and they must remain in the condition that they were delivered to you, in their original packaging. You will be responsible for arranging a courier to return they goods, whilst covering any costs, fees and risk that arise from the return of the goods. You must take reasonable care to make sure the goods are not damaged while with you or in transit. Returns are to be sent to our offices at Natural Paving Store, Unit 10-11 Northern Galleries, Fort Fareham Industrial Estate, Fareham, PO14 1AH. 

    e) If the goods are damaged or modified in any way by you or are damaged in transit during return in a way that could have been foreseen, we will assess the damage within 3 working days upon receiving them. If any portion of the goods are not in re-salable condition then they will be rejected and you will not be entitled to receive any refund of the payment for the goods made by you. 

    f) If the goods are deemed to be in resalable condition we will issue a refund, minus any delivery charges and a 20% restocking fee within 30 days of notification of cancellation. You will not be entitled to any refund if the goods are not returned to us. If you purchased good under a sale or offer, refund amounts will reflect the price you paid, not the cost of the price whilst not on a promotion or of a different price advertised elsewhere. 

    g) Please read our returns policy.

Cancellation by us

We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us in the following circumstances.

  1. a) We have insufficient stock to cover your order.

    b) Our couriers do not deliver to your area or there are access difficulties which would prevent our couriers vehicles from accessing your property. 

    c) One or more of the goods you have ordered were listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in pricing information passed to us by our supplier. 

    d) If we need to cancel your order, we will inform you via email correspondence and recredit your account or card as soon as possible but in any event, within 30 days of your order. 

    e) We are not obligated to offer additional compensation for any disappointment suffered.

Accessing our website

We cannot guarantee at anytime, that our website will be available or interrupted. We reserve the right to change, discontinue, suspend or withdraw any or all of the content. We accept no liability if our website is not able to be accessed at any time.

Price

  1. a) Our prices are listed clearly within product listing pages on our website. Our prices include free standard 48 hour delivery, unless you live in an “exception” postcode which are detailed under “Delivery information,” then “Check our delivery charges.”We also may not e able to deliver to some locations.

    b) We reserve the right to increase price of the goods by giving you notice prior to their delivery in the circumstances that you have not provided adequate delivery information, (for example, low bridge on a nearby access road, smaller vehicle would be needed,) to cover additional costs, (this example would result in a redelivery fee, covered under “price increase.” You may in this case instead cancel your order if you do not wish to pay the higher price.

Product information

The information and digital content on our website are all correct to the best of our knowledge. Reasonable steps are taken to ensure information and accurate and up to date. Screen resolutions, sizes, colours and brightness differ so please use images and a basic guide to the style of goods and not an exact picture of what you will receive.

Delivery

  1. a) When you place an order for goods through our website we use the delivery address entered by yourselves during the checkout process. If delivery is not successful due to the following reasons, we cannot accept responsibility for loss of goods or money, nor cover any charges associated with the mistake:

 a.1) Unsuitable or unsafe property or premises (please see our “Delivery Information” page for details of suitability.)

a.2) Inaccessibility to the property

a.3) No one at delivery address to sign for and accept delivery of goods (redelivery charges will apply.)

a.4) Incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided.

 c) All deliveries will be kerbside only. It may be deemed by the couriers that the nearest hardstanding location to the property is on the road. Any alternative arrangements made between yourself the customer and the driver will not be part of our contract between our company, yourself and the courier

d) Deliveries are not able to be made onto gravel, slate chipping, grass, soft verges or sloped areas. The driver will be driving a lorry with a tail lift, he will pull the goods off using a pump truck. These are not hiab trucks.

 e) Unless specified by yourself and prior arrangement or correct delivery charges paid, delivery will be a standard 2 working day delivery. This type of delivery will be between the hours of 8am and 6pm between Monday and Friday. Additional, more specific times and dates are possible, please contact us to find out more information and costs involved.

f) We do check each crate for damages before it is dispatched from our yard and check packaging for a safe delivery. When the goods arrive with you we ask that you take a moment to check through the crate before the driver leaves. If you find there are any damages, please sign for the item as damaged. If you are unable to check the goods while the driver is still in attendance, please sign for delivery as “unchecked.” We are unable to offer any replacements or credit if the delivery slip is not signed for as damaged, as this invalidates the insurance with the courier company, you will waive all rights and additional delivery costs will be charged to you.

g) You will need to make sure you have sufficient manpower to move the goods from kerbside location.

h) Each full pallet of stone weighs 1000KG.

i)  Deliveries lorries vary in size and maybe upto 28 tonne, if there are any difficulties with access in reaching your property, such as narrow roads, steep hills, small cul de sac. Please advise us so that we can make the delivery company aware, and have the right Vehicle sent out to you accordingly. Redelivery charges will apply if the driver can not get to you because you have failed to inform us of any potential issues.

j)  Customers or a representative are to be at the property to take delivery of the goods and provide a signature. Re-delivery charges will apply if you are not available when the courier arrives.

k) Unless otherwise stated before, or at the time of ordering, deliveries will be booked onto a booking system with the view of delivering within the delivery schedule (see “Delivery timetable” on our “Delivery Information” website page.) Our courier company will contact you or arrange delivery, ensuring it is on a day suitable for someone to be there to accept delivery. If you fail to provide the correct telephone number when ordering, fail to answer to the couriers or fail to return their call, we cannot accept any responsibility for delays of delivery. Whilst we take every care to try and get products dispatched on time, we cannot accept any responsibility of events beyond our control, for example delayed delivery. For this reason, order goods with plenty of time.

 l) We do not accept any liability for monetary of time loss for trades people waiting for goods to arrive should the couriers be unable to deliver on the stated date.

m) Extra fees apply for Next day, AM/PM and time specific deliveries, please get in touch for breakdown of fees.

Our online website is business as usual, we have our dedicated team operating answering your emails and dispatching orders within our normal time frame.

Phone Lines

Due to unprecedented high demand and adapting to new challenges with some of our staff working remotely, it may take a little longer for you to reach one of our team.  All calls will be answered, but there maybe a delay before one of our agents is free.

Deliveries

Our currently delivery lead time is 2-3 working days. We offer a fully tracked service.

Please Note: Due to current circumstances of today’s climate, our haulage company are experiencing high volumes with reduced staff due to COVID-19 restrictions therefore some delays beyond our control may occur. If you foresee any issues with this, please contact us immediately to discuss options.

Stock Availability

We are experiencing some issues with stock availability. It has been a challenging unusual time for everyone and many of our suppliers have experienced at some point restrictions on manufacturing. This has led to very high demand and a shortage of stock.

We are updating our website as quickly as possible to show the correct stock levels. Please call or email us if you would like anymore information as we maybe able to supply something that we are not showing available or give a lead time for when the stock is due in.

Split Packs

We are able to offer split packs on certain paving so that you can purchase the amount you require rather than purchasing a full pack and having a lot of wastage. We do still advise you must allow 10% extra.

split packs are available on all of our Sandstone Riven paving, Slate paving and Granite.

On our mixed packs we can only split by the sqm not by individual slab sizes.

Delivery costs for Split packs no matter the quantity will always be the same as Full packs.

We do charge a £25.00 fee for split packs as these require to be unpacked from the full crate, re-packed onto a new pallet and made secure and ready for dispatch.
