Batch information
Porcelain paving is a man-made product crafted in batches and may exhibit variations in colour and texture from batch to batch. This potential variance means that the porcelain you receive upon ordering may differ slightly from the samples sent, or our showroom displays viewed before making your purchase. To maintain product consistency, we advise against combining different sizes as these will inevitably be different batch codes. It is industry standard to allow an additional 10% on all orders.
Should you have any concerns about these variations, please reach out to our sales team for personalised guidance. We recommend keeping note of the โbatch colour codeโ labelled on the packaging of the delivered porcelain. This is a white label of the side of the pallet and also the packing of each individual slab.
While we strive to source the same batch for future orders, this isnโt guaranteed. Therefore, we encourage ordering sufficient quantities initially to maintain uniformity in your project.

Split Packs Available
We offer split packs on selected paving products, including natural stone paving (sandstone, Limestone, slate, granite) and our best-selling 600×900 porcelain paving. This allows you to order the exact square metre coverage you need, helping you avoid the cost and waste of buying a full pack.

Help & advice
Measurement
Make sure you measure from the longest point to the longest point, side to side and front to back. Use our coverage calculator to help you know what your requirement coverage is.
Add 10% Extra
The recommended industry standard is that you add 10% extra to your total measurements to allow for cuts, wastage, breakages and spares. By placing your order with us, you confirm that you have added this 10% extra as part of your own calculations and purchase.
Minimum Order
We can sell the paving by the sqm, however, for optimal transit, we recommend ordering a minimum of 5 sqm to ensure proper pallet weight.
Coverage
The coverage for each pack size is available on all products under the โSpecificationโ section. This indicates the area that can be covered, including the recommended joint width. Additionally, we provide the pack size, which indicates the number of slabs included in each pack.
Cut of times
For both standard and premium deliveries, the cutoff time for same-day dispatch is 11 a.m. If you need your order urgently and have missed this cutoff time, please call our team, and we will let you know if there is anything we can do to assist you.

Black Limestone Circles create the perfect rustic finish with a unique flare for attraction. The effective shape of the paving circle draws the eye and is favourable if focusing attention on one area or attracting the eye to a more distant part of the garden. This natural paving works well to create a stand-alone seating area or is incorporated into a paving design to add interest or differentiate a particular section of the garden.
Additionally, combined with its natural textured surface, Limestone slabs dry quickly after adverse weather conditions have set in which helps paving to remain slip-resistant. Limestone products are entirely natural and will feature variables in colour, tone, and pattern. This is a feature of the product and our product images will give a great overview of some of the natural variables you could receive.
Eye-catching stone circle features can help transform your patio area into something much more fitting for your home. Stone circles are incredibly versatile when looking to place, them in your garden. Paving Circles are user-friendly and easy to install with pre-cut stone which fit together seamlessly, reducing the need for specialized skills.
Please Note – All photos are taken for reference in colouring, patterns, and tones. These can be taken wet and dry. Sandstone is more vibrant in colouring when wet and lighter pastel tones when dry.
To ensure your project runs smoothly, several things are to be considered when laying a patio.
When your paving order has arrived, it is to be expected that the paving slabs may look dusty and grey- please do not worry, this is normal! To help identify, we recommend adding water to the surface of the slabs before installing which will allow the colour variable to be enhanced and help create an even colour pallet throughout your paving area. Each crate is randomly selected and will not contain an even colour pallet.
If you find you have too many segments to create the circle โ please do not panic! This is to be expected as we add extra segments for each ring to ensure you have more than enough to complete your circle.
When installing natural stone, it is recommended to use a priming slurry. Commonly known as primer or SBR is applied to the underside of the slabs for a safe and sturdy fix to the base. This will create a barrier between the stone and the mortar to prevent any natural salts and minerals from being drawn up through the base of the slab.
It is recommended to use a diamond-tipped blade with an appropriately powered disc cutter for your installation project.
Jointing your patio could not be any easier with an all-weather brush-in jointing compound which will provide the same stability as sand and cement.ย It is strongly advised to not use any acid-based products to remove excess residue from the edges after jointing as this will damage the paving.
For more information, please contact us at 01329 238150 follow our installation guide HERE, or check out our help and maintenance information HERE.
Laying a patio can get messy and itโs important to take as much care as possible when laying the slabs to ensure that no staining occurs to the slabs during installation.
If you notice any residue on the slabs when installing, be sure to clean it off ASAP as things such as wet cement will be much tougher to remove once dried. Remember that anything that remains on the surface of a slab can seep into the stone and leave a stain.
It is advised to seal Limestone paving slabs to help prevent any staining or fading, as well as helping to prevent the growth of any moss or algae. If your paved area is to see a high level of footfall, consider sealing your slabs however, sealing is not compulsory due to the durability of the material. There are no specific guidelines and most landscapers will have their own tried methods. Some may choose to seal the paving before laying to prevent any staining during the laying process and some may prefer to leave their stone unsealed for up to a year, allowing the limestone to weather naturally before applying a sealer.
Black Limestone in its natural form will be a charcoal/grey colour if left untreated. This will lighten further when exposed to UV sunlight which will bleach the natural pigment in the stone. To ensure Limestone retains its newly quarried darker tones, you need to seal the surface – for best results, use a dar stone sealer which will turn the stone black (as if they are wet)
As part of the drying process, you may find efflorescence coming through the is a white/light grey powdery substance that can appear on the surface of natural stone, especially in damp or humid conditions. This is caused by natural salts and minerals which exposed to the surface of the slabs. Although it can look unsightly, it will not affect the structural integrity of the stone.
